Description
Cosmic Consciousness is that state of awareness which is the goal of all students and disciples on the path. In the process of gaining this great goal, we are taught to enter that state of attunement called Samadhi – the raising of oneself above and beyond all material limitations until one stands forth freed from the darkness of this world.
Even though man does not realize it, he is walking at the bottom of an ocean, an ocean in which the accumulated effects of past causes form an obscuring veil which prevents him from seeing the reality. Only when man liberates himself from darkness, will he begin to glimpse the Cosmic Consciousness, the Samadhi Consciousness, and truly see in the Clear Light.
Doreal discusses the relationship of these themes to the New Age we have now entered into. We are living in the New Age, but we have not entered the fullness of that New Age. Man, as a whole, must begin to manifest the higher consciousness of that of Samadhi, before the true destiny, laid out from the beginning, is manifested in Perfect Order.
